Nepal arrivals surge 33% in February

Tourist arrivals by air to Nepal increased 33% year-on-year in February, according to figures released by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). 33,492 visitors arrived in the country by air last month, with a huge 242.5% rise in arrivals from China contributing to the result. Arrivals from Singapore (+55.9%), the US (+53.2%), Malaysia (+38.9%), Japan (+31.7%), and the South Korea (+21.6%) also saw large increases.
